Solvang, CA. Local Solvang residents and tourists will soon have the opportunity to experience reality in a new way. Space VR, the Central Coast's premiere virtual reality lounge will be opening this month in Solvang Village Square. In the quaint Danish town that recreates the charm of the Old World, Space VR will open a doorway to the future. Using the latest in HTC Vive technology, Space VR will offer room-size immersive virtual reality experiences that allow for full 360º participation in computer-created environments. Players wear headsets that transport them to any one of hundreds of real or imaginary worlds where they can battle zombies, perform surgery, walk through Van Gogh's paintings, feed dinosaurs, or explore the ocean depths with a great blue whale. Children and adults can choose from 30 or 60 minutes of playtime, during which their reality becomes whatever and wherever they want it to be.
